Integrative Counselling in Reading & Online Across the UK

You may be finding it hard to cope with anxious thoughts, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or the pressure of trying to hold everything together. Perhaps you feel disconnected from yourself, emotionally exhausted, or unsure where to turn next.

Counselling offers a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to understand yourself more deeply, without judgement or pressure.

I’m Nikita (she/her), an integrative counsellor offering online counselling across the UK and in-person sessions in Reading, Berkshire. I work with individuals aged 16 and over experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, low confidence, relationship challenges, and difficult life experiences.

My Approach

As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to you as an individual. I draw from person-centred and psychodynamic approaches depending on your needs, experiences, and goals.

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely heard, accepted, and able to explore things at your own pace. My aim is to create a calm and supportive environment where you do not feel judged or pressured to be anything other than yourself.

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Sessions with me will be:

  • Calm and supportive

  • Honest but gentle

  • Collaborative rather than clinical

  • A space where you will be heard

  • Somewhere you can explore emotions without judgement

My role is not to tell you who to be, but to support you in understanding yourself more fully and making choices that feel right for you.

How Counselling Helps

Sometimes we develop ways of coping that helped us survive difficult experiences, but no longer feel helpful in our day-to-day lives. Therapy can help you explore these patterns with compassion and curiosity, allowing space for meaningful change.

Together, we can work towards:

  • Understanding your thoughts, feelings, and patterns more clearly

  • Building self-esteem and self-trust

  • Managing anxiety and overwhelm

  • Improving relationships and boundaries

  • Processing difficult experiences safely

  • Feeling more connected to yourself and your needs

Reaching out for therapy can feel difficult, especially when you’re already carrying a lot emotionally. You do not need to know exactly what to say.

If you would like to arrange a free 20-minute introductory call, you’re welcome to get in touch by e-mail.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself, just as I am, then I can change.”
